This summer house for two graphic artists is located on the banks of the Damariscotta River. The main floor contains the kitchen, dining and living in a large open room with a separate master bedroom and bath. A suspended exterior walkway along the south facade acts as a sunscreen and walkway to a large screen porch on the west. The lower level has two studios which double as bedrooms with exposed steel bar joists and metal deck. Both floors are radiant heated exposed concrete. Other materials include corrugated metal siding on the exterior and exposed glulam beams.
